Here is the thing in your life you know, whenever there is something you want the most the universe starts to play it's tricks on you as if it's making the biggest humour out of you. Well it's true.

Atleast in my case.

Like how I am currently running through the corridors and mumbling sorry and excuse me every second to find my classroom in this big ass uni. Two things noted,first to not take rest under any tree or anywhere except for classroom and second I should really explore the uni or else I will be doomed for the upcoming days.

All the students are passing by me giving me side eyes and most of them glaring well I don't blame them, I have coffee in one hand, another hand have my books, I am running like I am some thief,half of my hair fallen out from my bun and another half well I don't even know, at this point I am sure I am looking like a lunatic.

As I reached a corner it was written room no. 154 ah god!! Not this again I am lost. My room was 132 which means I had to go the other building.

Oh. My. God.

I quickly started running again, thanking my inner self for doing exercise everyday or else I would have died by now. My hair started flying all over my face due to the wind and I couldn't see anything yet I kept running.

Suddenly, as I was somehow trying to move my hairs out from my face my legs got stuck somehow and I tripped. Fuck!! I tripped and going to fall on my face.

Can my day get anymore worse???

As I welcomed my fall, or which was supposed to happen it didn't came. What the hell?

Open your eyes SCARLETT!!!

Oh yes!

I opened my eyes and saw a white wall. Ugh!!! How can a white wall come in the middle of corridor. It's ofcourse a white shirt and then I felt the strong press of a hand from my back which was holding me.

Oh god!!! Did I ended up in someone's arms? And why the hell do I feel like it's a guy?

Because he smells of rich masculine woody scent.

My heartbeat picked up,as if that got my trance back I quickly pulled myself out of that arm maybe slightly pushing the person though the body didn't budge.

As I was going to mumble a quick sorry and run for my life, I did my second biggest mistake on the very first day, I looked up.

Big mistake.

Black hair. Stormy grey eyes.

His jet midnight black hair, eyes directly staring at my soul, the crooked shape of his nose,cupid bow shaped full plump lips. His jawline and cheekbones so sharp as if it can cut me if I dare to touch.

He was dressed in a white half sleeve shirt and black trousers, the dress up is so casual yet it's making him look so good.

But all the good looking guys are the real monsters.

I looked at his eyes again to find them already staring at me, one of his perfectly shaped eyebrow raised up.

FOCUS!!!

"I-i a-am sorry!!!" With that I started to run again only this time I felt eyes boring into my back and as if to check that when I turned to the corner I looked back only to find him still standing there and looking at me.

Damn girl! So much for staying invisible.

After three classes of complete peace thanks to lord I am currently sitting in the cafeteria waiting for both my new friends I guess? I am not sure yet.I took the seat at the farthest corner I hope they just don't mind.

I ordered a coffee and I was checking my messages when suddenly a loud thump came and shook the table making me gasp. I looked up to see Ava laying her head on the table. Maya came with a big plate of sandwich, juice and two coffee and sat down quitely rolling her eyes at Ava.

Ava finally looked up, "Sorry I was just tired and couldn't help myself to-" "Sit down like that? Seriously Ava grow up will you?"Maya said with a small huff.

" And tell me Maya what's the fun in acting like all grown up? I mean you will just get early wrinkles and what not. I mean which I am sure you will get with that way of scowling. " Ava said grabbing the coffee,I couldn't help my laugh at their bickerings.

Maya looked at me and asked, "So, how was your first day?"

The question suddenly reminded of that morning guy and god how much I embarassed myself with the running and everything so I narrated almost everything except the part where I liked the looks of the guy.

Ava was drinking juice while making all those slurping noises looking at me with a narrow eyed look. "So how does the guy look like?" Ava asked in all seriousness though her tone contained a certain amount of teasing.

Maya rolled her eyes, I think they are friends from much before. I shrugged and lied through my teeth, "Nothing too much to remember."

Oh really? Then how are you still recalling his scent and eyes?

That's because he saved me nothing more.

Sure anything that helps you to sleep at night.

Yeah yeah remember? Delulu is solulu.

Suddenly, out of nowhere Ava gave out a loud gasp and Maya turned wide eyed looking at something behind me.Since my back is towards the entrance I don't know what is going on.

As I was going to turn Maya hold my hand in a firm grip and whisper yelled, "Was the guy Aaron?"

Who is Aaron?

And how will I even know his name today is my first day. As if hearing my thoughts suddenly Ava also came whispering to my other side,"Did he have tanned skin, crooked nose, gorgeous model like body and face-"

Maya cut her off, "Was it the grey coloured eyes guy?"

I just nodded and gave a light shrug even though my heart rate picked up. What the hell is wrong with my heart now?

Ava gasped and Maya kept looking at me with wide eyes. "What happened?" I asked genuinely getting confused. Did I do some crime?

"You mean The Aaron Knight the head of the basketball team,the most gorgeous devil of this uni,the topper of the class, the future hier of Knight and Lockwood Corporation SAVED YOU??" Ava exclaimed yelled.

"No doubt he is looking at you since the moment he entered in the cafeteria." Maya looked behind me and said.

Wait what?!

I quickly turned and the view choked me on my saliva and my heartbeat suddenly decided to run a mile in seconds because those stormy grey eyes were directly staring at me right into my soul. A blonde girl was sitting beside him while her hands around his neck, she was whispering something but it looks like he is ignoring her and his focus is solely on me. Another four guys are sitting beside him each of them were devilishly handsome which was making all the girls drooling in the whole cafeteria. All of them had a bimbo girl in thier arms or lap except one who is just beside Aaron or whatever his name is rather his focus is on someone behind me or beside me.

I couldn't focus on him anymore. My gaze went back to Aaron again, he abruptly stand up which made the blonde girl fall from his lap and she made a loud sound and the whole cafeteria gasped including me.

What the hell? But that's not what made my heart drum like crazy and my made my whole body shivered making goosebumps on my skin.

It was Aaron directly coming towards me, his eyes boring into my eyes, those grey eyes are hiding a storm behind it which makes him more mysterious and thrilling. His white shirt flexing under his body, and those black pants oh fuck! Don't go there Scarlett.

His steps were slow and deliberate,it's like a predators gaze. Those eyes were like molting lava waiting to burn me alive.

He came in front of me still staring at me and I didn't even dared to look anywhere else,I am afraid whenever I will look away he will pounce on me but that's impossible considering we don't even know each other.

Your darkromance men doesn't need to know each other before pouncing on thier girl.

But it's real life and shut up wrong timing.

He tilted his head to the side scrutinizing me ugh!!! What is the problem of this guy? He is creeping me out.

"Do you need something or you are going to stare like a creep?" I asked in the most casual way I can even though my feelings and emotions are anything but casual. Both Maya and Ava half gasped and laughed while the others went silent. Well it was already silent.
I have a feeling they were waiting for the show including his friends who have amused and  even interested look on their faces along with all those bimbos.

His fingers touched my forehead as a lovers caress, his hands were rough not too much but enough to make me feel something down there making my thighs clench. He is touching my forehead but the electric current that passed through me at the first touch made it feel like he is touching me everywhere.

His fingers gently stroke my cheeks as he cupped my cheek with his hand;his thumb running along my jawline making my breathing erratic which made my chest rise and fall in a way that made him look down.
His face blank but if I wasn't so much concentrated on him I would have missed the glow of satisfaction on his eyes for the way he is effecting me.

And that made me out of the trance from whatever the hell it was, I pulled myself away from him suddenly realising how much power I am giving to this guy.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" I asked my tone calm and I am so glad for that even though my heart will like to say otherwise.

He was still staring at me blankly his hands in his pockets. Those grey eyes, they are so mysterious I can't be sure what he is even thinking.

When I was sure he was not going to say anything else he said, his voice so rich and deep, the velvety note of his voice made my knee buckling weakness at the very moment.

"Showing them what's mine. " With that he walked away but not before giving me a look that says this is just the beginning of everything.
